I’m a Cyclist

When I live in Jakarta, my biggest worry is when I’m at some nowhere place, during the night and want to go back home.

Before the era of Busway, public transportation are basically mess up. And the operational hours are limited to 21:00 (mostly). If you need to go home using public transportation at that hour, you will having a problem.

If there’s no public transportation to your destination arrived, you have to take a taxi. But what if you don’t have enough money?

Motorcycle is the number one favorite transportation vehicle for most people in Indonesia. But due to the price and the bullshit that I need to get through for my Driving License, I decided to just buy a bicycle.

Why?

Because, that time, I just found out of how people are actually travelling around the big city with bicycle. They are even doing a long distance travelling, from city to city, from country to country, and from island to another island.

So, I decided to buy a bicycle.

Now, bicycle is my main commuting vehicle.

Of course, I still interested to get a motorcycle. But then, the bullshit that I have to deal with order to get the Driving License is too much for me.

Not to mention, I crashed onto a car when driving my sister’s motorcycle.

Oh well…
