Last Sunday, me and two of Nendonesia admin goes to Sentul for some photo hunting. Our plan is to find a place for our member activity, after taking a long trip we finally arrived on the location.
In Sentul, there are some interesting location. But the problem is, most of it are at the side of the road, and there’s no parking area. So we decided to find a park or something like that.
We saw three Parks from the traffic sign.
But we are end up being trolled. The park label is not a real park, it’s just a name of residential area. There are some golf course too, which are perfect spot for our photo shooting, but we cannot enter the area if we don’t play golf (and the fee is raping our wallet), so it’s a big no no.
Eventually, we go to an amusement park. We paid around 90 cents to enter the park.
This park is not that big. Probably around as big as soccer field. There are some rides, like monorail car that can fit for two persons, bump car, children playground, mini train, etc.
Since we got no other place to go, we decided to do our photo shooting here.
I personally brought four Nendoroids, and two Nendoroid Petit. Usa Mimi, Raspberyl, Miku, Saber Lily, Mini Kyouka and Rider Maid Uniform. But Saber Lily currently unavailable because one guy accidentally broke her pony tail joint, and I was mess up with the Super Glue…
Since we are in rainy season, the land are not dried. So I have to find a dry grass because most of the grassy area always filled with water, very uncomfortable to step in, especially when you wearing nothing but sandals.
While I was busy with my own Nendoroids, Shuuya’s seems having fun on his own. He stay on that spot quite long, so may be you’re wondering what is in his mind? Well, You’ll see the result soon enough.
After staying around the field, we are moving to the other place.
This time, we found a clay workshop. Yup, the “origin of Nendoroid”.
The workshop is open for public, so we are having fun inside. Of course, to prevent discomfort, we are asking the permission first to the workshop manager, so we can took the photograph freely.
Inside this workshop, we can see various clay craft. The one that on the photo above is a product for sale, we also see a lot of various works from other because each craft got their name engraved on it.
Nendoroid came from the word Nendo, it mean “clay”. The device where Miku standing on it is a Pottery wheel, this is the device that used by the Potter for crafting their works.
There are various model of this device. The simple one is the one that need to spin with your hand. And the one that you saw in the photo above is almost the same, but you spin the wheel with your foot. With this, your hand will have more freedom in shaping your clay.
Other model are using foot pedal (almost look like sewing machine’s foot pedal), with this pedal your foot will have less stress and thus, more productivity. And the modern one already using electric motor, just like modern sewing machine.
Again, this post already too long. So I have to stop here and continued on the new one.
In the next post, you will see most of my friend photograph. And if you still curious about what is Shuuya doing on the field alone, stay tuned in this blog.
See you soon
