Okay, we have tested the LED unit on the LBX chest. Now, let’s put on the chest armor to cover the Arc Reactor.
There’s a light leaking out to the right side of the armor (around the damaged armor), but that’s actually intentional because the armor is broken so the internal parts are mess up.
The resistor is sticking out
I will dealing with the resistor placement later.
Okay, my original plan is not to let the light passing through on the white chest piece, I will let the light passing through at inbetween the red and white piece but not directly to the white piece.
Yeah, the photos seems cool, but not that cool if you see it in person.
I will paint the inner pieces with black or any solid paint, so the light will not passing through.
The wire is sticking out from the back side. I use alligator clip to clam the LED’s lead and then hooked up to the 9 volts DC adapter. Don’t forget the resistor, or the LED will get fried.
Ami: “Jarvis, are you with me?”
Jarvis: “For you, Mam? Always!”
Now, here is the problem.
I want to put the coin battery at the back skirt of Pandora. But this will make the balance is shifted to the back side. This will make Pandora cannot standing in normal way.
Other idea is to create a small diorama. Pandora will be attached on the Diorama, and the wire will be routed to her legs down to the diorama. With this, I can place the battery in the diorama, or even hook up a DC adapter socket, or USB cable directly.
The next problem is, since Pandora eyes is using a solid yellow colored part, the LED light cannot passing through the part.
This is very annoying, as I mention in my review, Bandai did not create a translucent yellow part. Because of this problem, I have to create a new translucent parts if I want to light up her eyes.
I will show you the head parts in the next post.
See you soon
